Supremacy Clause of the United States Constitution
"The statutory law of the United States is part of the law of each state just as if it were written into state statutory law.
The Supremacy Clause establishes the Constitution, Federal Statutes, and U.S. treaties as "the supreme law of the land." The Constitution is the highest form of law in the American legal system. State judges are required to uphold it, even if state laws or constitutions conflict with it.
Local Law Enforcement's existing Authority to enforce immigration Law
In the absence of a limitation on local enforcement powers, the states are bound by the Supremacy Clause of the United ‘States Constitution to enforce violations of the federal immigration laws.
They do not need a 287g, MOU, IGA or a Permission slip to enforce the law. 287g is for post arrest purposes. Congress has firmly established that there is a significant public interest in the effective enforcement of immigration law. Congress could have chosen to limit local enforcement pursuant to its plenary power over immigration, but it has not done so. In the absence of a limitation on local enforcement powers, the states are bound by the Supremacy Clause of the United ‘States Constitution to enforce violations of the federal immigration laws. "The statutory law of the United States is part of the law of each state just as if it were written into state statutory law.

Violence in Mexico spills across US border By EILEEN SULLIVAN – May 14, 2008
"It's almost like a military fight," Ahern said Tuesday. "I don't think that generally the American public has any sense of the level of violence that occurs on the border." In the most recent high-level assassination, a top-ranking official on a local Mexican police force was shot more than 50 times and killed. Drug-related violence killed more than 2,500 people last year alone in Mexico.
Hundreds riot at L.A. detention center for illegal immigrants
Los Angeles County sheriff's officials are investigating a riot that broke out Tuesday involving hundreds of immigration detainees at a county-run facility in Lancaster, where guards had to use tear gas grenades to restore order, authorities said today.
Immigration agency plans new family detention centers Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued a call for proposals last month and set June 16 as the deadline. New facilities are being considered on both coasts and on the Southwestern border. The agency calls for minimum-security residential facilities that would provide a "least restrictive, nonsecure setting" and provide schooling for children, recreational activities and access to religious services. http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-detention18-2008may18,0,2430780.story

Quite a few folks from Pennsylvania came to join their Jersey neighbors, including Joey Vento who insisted that customers order his Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches in English or they would not be served. The Dudley Do Rights took him to court and just recently the case was settled with Joey cleared.

Living in the path of the invasion one cannot escape this nightmare in our own backyard.
I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do. What I can do, I should do. And what I should do, by the grace of God, I will do." ~ Edward Everett Hale
