With reference to Oklahoma's law designed to discourage illegal aliens from staying in the State, "The bill's sponsor, State Rep. Randy Terrill, said, 'Oklahoma is no longer OK for illegal aliens.'"

But a federal judge blocked enforcement of the law.  Below, a commentator suggests how this law -- any State law designed along the same lines -- can be made better.

This is why the law was unsuccessful.  Had the legislation used the correct term for those who have snuck into our country without inspection or infiltrated by overstaying a temporary visa -- INVADERS -- then the courts would have had no constitutional recourse but to let the legislation stand.

States DO have the authority under the Constitution to repel invaders and protect their people from invasion -- even if the Feds fail to act.  The OK legislators should have declared War against the foreign invaders and their treasonous aiders and abettors.  The fact that most WMD (heroin, meth, cocaine) used to poison our children is trafficked into the States by and sold by the invaders and their associates is grounds for a Declaration of War on the invaders and the expulsion of their countries' embassies from the States so invaded and under chemical weapons assault.  The fact that the invaders also pillage the coffers of the States and send the booty out of the State's economy and home to their countries of origin, which usually tax these "remittances" is also an act of War.  The fact that the invaders have violent militias (gangs) operating with impunity, killing, raping and maiming citizens of the State, while hiding within their invader communities is also an act of War.  And, the list goes on.

I am sure that the OK legislators could effectively rewrite their legislation as a Declaration of War against the INVADERS and their treasonous enablers.  By declaring War, the State is doing its duty under the Constitution.  The US Chamber of Commerce would face treason charges if it joins with the INVADERS as Enemies of the State and enablers of the invasion.  And, "anchor babies" would no longer anchor the INVADERS to this country with US citizenship under the current misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment -- children born to INVADERS are not entitled to US citizenship according to the US Supreme Court in US v. Wong Kim Ark (Wong was not an invader's child, but the court does a fine examination of 14th Amendment birth-right citizenship -- it explicitly exempts children born to invaders on US soil from US citizenship under the 14th Amendment).

The OK legislature needs to drop the PC BS and call a spade a spade!  Or, in this case, an invader an invader, subject to the rules of War when a State is under siege and invaded by a tsunami of foreign privateers.  If the OK legislature continues to consider the invaders to be only migrating workers, illegally in their State, then they will get absolutely no where and the courts will shoot them down each and every time they try to pass legislation concerning illegal immigration.  To paraphrase that old Clinton campaign mantra -- "Its the INVASION, stupid!"
